A shapeshifting chameleon that proudly embraces the influence of real-life experiences to include in his music, and like an audible alchemist, turns everything into gold – Benedek Rakovics, aka Yamazaki, was born to be different. From his earliest days spent studying classical music, to falling in love with the craft after borrowing a friend’s synthesizer & discovering his own unique set of talents & unparalleled ear for sound, the young Hungarian artist carefully developed & refined an extraordinary skillset that was unlike any other. By incorporating a variety of sensational, sensory qualities found in Korean music, Japanese traditions, Zen philosophies, and respected cultures from all around the globe, Yamazaki found the true power of his creativity and stayed ready for the moment that preparation would meet with opportunity.
After running his own IT company successful for fifteen years, the moment he was looking for had finally arrived at long last. Creating an authentic character for his music career, Yamazaki wears the full mask of a wolf when playing online or onstage and is also featured in his animal form for his animated videos. An extra layer of separation that affords Yamazaki the ability to immerse himself even deeper within his music to create the highest quality content possible, and showcase the artistic potency of the freedom of expression – the security of his mask has provided him with the opportunity to explore the depths of his emotions in extraordinarily profound ways that nothing else ever could. Free to create and produce music in every style he ever dreamed of, Yamazaki has infused Hip-Hop, Synthwave, K-Pop, Electronica, and so much more, into a hybrid sound that reflects on the diversity & versatility found within life itself.
